Melissa Campbell
Owner & Designer
A south Florida native and lifelong seamstress, Melissa is no stranger to designing new patterns with a funky Florida flair. While attending engineering school, she met artists Kathleen & Tori and an old flame was re-ignited. Melissa started designing and producing purses that celebrated the artwork of Kathleen and Tori. The For People collection brings their art to life, taking it off the wall and adding it to your next adventure! The For Pets collection is a lateral transition to elevate “man’s best friend” to “my everything”. When you step out for a boardwalk stroll, Melissa envisions your proud pup sporting a snap-on bandana that matches your sport-band & scrunchie. That’s going to be a YES from us!
Kathleen Kaller
Artist
Currently residing in California, her work is largely inspired by the Cape Cod seaside. Her love of the sea
is evident in every colorful brushstroke. MELART is proud to feature her work on handbags, accessories and throughout the For Pets collection. Bring her beautiful work with you on your sea-side adventure!
Tori Thomas
Artist
Her work is inspired by a career in marine research and commercial fishing. Her passion for marine life, combined with her love of gardening is reflected in each piece. Anatomically correct designs in addition to a few other cheeky pieces will bring a little more fun to your day. MELART is proud to introduce her work in the For Pets collection, and the For People collection including handbags and accessories. Meet Leo, the German Shepard & Mastiff puppy. He is the inspiration behind the "For Pets" collection. Leo is a large-breed dog, and finding accessories for him was difficult. Finding attractive and durable accessories was nearly impossible. As a seamstress, I found myself creating coordinated pieces for both Leo and myself - an elevated approach to "man's best friend". The "For Pets" collection features bandanas, collars, leads, waste-bag holders, and dog toys.
